Pirate Days

Gananoque goes to the Pirates with a Captain Jack Sparrow look-a-like contest, children’s activities in Town Hall Park and at the Gananoque Boat Line docks. Friday July 15th join in the fun as the Pirates parade invades down town Gananoque. Saturday evening climb aboard for a Pirate Cruise of the 1000 Islands.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Buttons: $10 adults  - $5 child for 4 days

Thurs – Sun. Waterfront Pirate village opens at 6pm

Listen to wandering minstrels, have your fortune told, watch fire performers, become an honorary pirate, have your picture taken in the village square in the stalks,  and lots more.

THURSDAY July 19

7:30pm outdoor pirate movie on waterfront stage

GBL to have popcorn machines and drinks for sale on the waterfront

FRIDAY July 20

11:00 AM – Pirate book reading at bookstore

• Distribution of treasure map for treasure hunt to children (UP TOWN)

1:00 – 11PM Waterfront Pirate Village

Kids Zone all day: make a pirate hat, pirate tattoos, crafts, 3 legged race, facepainting

1:00PM –Pirate music and magic

2:00 PM – Debbie’s Dance Academy Play

3PM Pirate Band

4 pm Pirate Band

5:00 pm close of village until after parade

6:00 pm – meet at arena for parade

7:00PM Parade to Waterfront

8:00PM MC to lead into Wench Auction

9:00 PM – BAM Percussion

9:45 – Celtic Band

11:00 pm - close

            Gymnasium size blow up obstacle course ( age 7 and up)
