Resilience Weekend Festival – Eastern Canada

Resilience Festival Weekend
COMMUNITIES: Food, Farms & Families
The Permaculture Assoc of/du Canada is a small volunteer group that is federally registered not for profit based in rural Eastern Ontario. We’re very much focused on educating folks about implementing workable local community Resilience strategies across the country and beyond. We are aligned with groups like Transition Towns, 350.org and Permaculture locally and beyond.

A community of stakeholders like you can push this event into the mainstream and help to create the greater local resilience that is so obviously needed in many folks’ lives, families and communities.

Our goal is to host an event that will showcase a wide range of resilience skills and lifestyle choices that anyone can have or do in their communities by focusing on food, farms, and their families. A volunteer group of 14 (at time of writing and growing) are actively planning speakers, workshops, e-vehicles, tiny houses, yurts, water & energy alternatives, trade show and vendors plus lots of local food and family fun events. We’ve embarked on a big mission in the region.

You can help us to be able to grow it into a meaningful experience that will have impact on the lives of visitors from as far and wide as Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa and communities everywhere between.
