Dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the fascinating history of Canada’s Federal penitentiary system, currently more than 25,000 people per year visit this award-winning museum, which offers self-guided tours. When possible, volunteers and staff are always on hand to answer your questions. Please allow a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy the visit and investigate the history of Canada’s federal penitentiaries. It’s time well spent!
