The Firehall Theatre sits right along the bank of the St. Lawrence River, offering an intimate performance space where you are never more than a few rows from the stage. This August, the theatre presents the musical story of Cathy, an aspiring actress, and Jamie, a rising novelist. Their relationship spans five years and is told from opposite ends of time, with Jamie moving forward from their first meeting and Cathy moving backward from their separation. The two timelines intersect only once in the middle for a single shared song. It is a powerful exploration of love and distance, directed by Brett Christopher, that resonates with anyone who has navigated a shared life.
